Ph.D. researcher investigating ultrafast carrier dynamics and electronic structure of quantum materials using time‑ and angle‑resolved photoemission spectroscopy (TR‑ARPES). I operate both hemispherical analyzers and momentum microscopes; collaborate across international teams on Floquet–Bloch engineering, CDW dynamics, and superconductivity.

Ph.D. Researcher — INRS (Canada) / University of Bordeaux (France) Feb 2023 — Present

  • Control of intervalley scattering in $Bi_2Te_3$: We demonstrate that electron‑phonon‑mediated intervalley scattering plays a pivotal role in determining its electron dynamics and that these ultrafast scattering processes are highly sensitive to subtle variations in the bulk band dispersion.
  • Role of defect states in semiconducting $1T-SnS_2$: We provide fundamental insights into how in‑gap states influence the optical properties and ultrafast carrier dynamics, based on advanced TR‑ARPES measurements.
  • Floquet‑Bloch Engineering in 2D Materials: Investigating the transient generation of Floquet‑Bloch states via MIR pump pulses.
  • Charge‑density‑wave fluctuations in $TiSe_2$: Probed the dynamics of charge density waves to understand their effect on electronic properties.

  • Second Harmonic Generation from Artificial Atoms: Investigated nonlinear optical phenomena using femtosecond lasers and conducted simulations with Ansys Lumerical and COMSOL.
